Resilience Round Table
Meeting Resources
24th April 2026
9.30am -10.30am

Hi Doug here!
Thank you to everyone who attended the session last Friday.
This time, we discussed 'The inside track on the Gallup Q12 team engagement survey'.
To quote Garry Ridge in his book 'Any Dumb-Ass Can Do It' - "Imagine creating and leading a company culture where people came to work every day doing meaningful work they believed in, where they felt safety and belonging among colleagues who support them.”
During the session, we discussed the importance of team engagement, the difference an engaged team or disengaged team can have on the rest of your people, and what the best managers can do to engage teams positively.
This led to a great conversation; here are some of the key points:
- What drives client loyalty
- What drives team engagement
- What engagement looks like in your firm
- The Gallup statistics on team engagement
- The impact of an actively disengaged team member and their effect on the rest of the team
- What you have learnt as a firm by completing the Gallup Q12 survey
- The questions that have stood out for you
- Pinfields story
- What the best managers can do to build an engaged team
- Why creating a safe space for weekly one-to-ones means your team will give their best
Thank you, as always, for your contributions.
If you would like to discuss it further, please let me know, and we will organise a call or meeting.
Wishing you every success
Doug
