Carolyn Everson is one of the worlds most influential social media people – she’s head of global marketing at Facebook.
In this brief 3 minute video she shares a couple of valuable insights into the job Facebook is meant to do for your accountancy brand.
She cites American Express as ‘one-to-watch’ because they have put Facebook in a pivotal role in their marketing. We have started watching AmEx for this reason – see our facebook page here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Remarkable-Practice/308672409145904.
I’m yet to be convinced about the merits of facebook so I’d welcome your thoughts?
Carolyn Everson also suggests that Facebook (and I’d include LinkedIn in this argument) is facilitating the move from disruptive marketing (eg adverts interrupting your enjoyment of a film) to one which seamlessly links with the customers experience.
