Meeting Resources

25th April 2025
9.30am -10.30am

Hi Paul and Doug here!

Thankyou for your great contributions on this session.

We asked the question - Where is your firm right now with the 4 day working week? This led to a great discussion about many of the issues around introducing a 4-day working week in your firm, including:

  • the global level of employee engagement
  • the expectation of the Gen Z workforce
  • the demand on your managers
  • the importance of mental health/wellbeing and a work/life balance
  • recent surveys and the positive effects of implementing a 4-day week
  • hours and rewards
  • new recruits expectations
  • flexible working and the team
  • why the 4-day week has to work for the team, clients and firm
points of consideration if you were introducing the 4-day week in your firm
  • delivering value in less time find efficiencies

The final question during the session was,

"

'If we were to help you move to a 4-day working week in your firm, how would we do this?'

if you would like to discuss it further, please let me know, and we will organise a call or meeting

Wishing you every success

Doug and Paul

Business Breakthroughs

 REPORT & SUPPORTING TOOLS

To make your accountancy firm more successful, what should you stop doing?

Time is both finite and precious. Choose what to stop doing and you’re then able to use your finite time more wisely, effectively and profitably.
Ignore your ‘stop doing’ list and you’ll continue to get the same old results.

 REPORT & SUPPORTING TOOLS

Winning results, no matter what challenges are thrown at your accountancy firm...

Make the shift from an hours-worked focus to outcomes-achieved.
And allow your people to choose when they work and where they work.

REPORT & SUPPORTING TOOLS

Are you wasting 80% of your working week making just 20% of your profits?

The world is unbalanced. The work we do is also unbalanced. And because it’s unbalanced, it pays to focus on the few things that really pay off for our firm.
