If you are a regular visitor to my blog you’ll already know about my obsession with stories and why they matter to accountants.

Why?

If you want a corporate perspective to the answer read this blog from a UK marketing agency about how and why the fortune 500 companies are obsessing about stories – I’ve just ordered the global report on the power of stories they have on offer.

To answer the question more simply…

Stories are what people want – by people I mean your accountancy firm’s clients and prospects and introducers.

We all value and enjoy stories. It’s why we read books, go to the cinema, watch East Enders (I’m hooked on the BBC ‘Hunted’ series). So what!?

So make stories a part of your accountancy firm’s marketing model and you’ll stand a chance of cutting through the marketing guff everyone is shovelling in the way of your clients and prospects.

Either you’re also shovelling marketing guff too or you’re telling great stories and engaging in conversation about your stories.

So what’s your best story about your accountancy firm?

What’s the best client story you have and tell?

How can you make more of stories in your firm?
