How to build an improvement culture in your firm...
Resilience Round Table
Meeting Resources
15th November 2024
9.30am -10.30am
Hi Paul and Doug here!
This is a quick follow-up on our Resilience Round Table discussion on Friday 15th September at 9.30am.
We were talking about how you work smarter, not harder in your firm and build an improvement and production culture.
Thank you for all your contributions. We kicked off the sessions with this quote:
"Where there are no standards, there is no improvement" - Taiichi Ohno
This led to a conversation which covered a variety of angles on this subject including:
- questions around why standards matter and how they are shared, measured, controlled and upheld
- questions around how standards drive improvement
- the role Toyota has played in benchmarking continuous improvement
- ownership and accountability around standards and improvements in your firm
- what 'respect for people' means
- why camaraderie, fairness and achievement matter in your firm
- the key question to think about: what is the one thing making your job harder than it should be?
If there's anything else that you'd like to see as a resource for this discussion just drop sally@remarkablepractice.com a line and she will add it to this page.
Wishing you every success!
